Picking up Litter

Here is a link to an article I have written for Berghaus about how I have started collecting litter when out for a walk or a run. It is a real shame that I and others need to.

  1. Good on you Steve.
I sometimes pick bits up, but this has inspired me to do a bit more. I remember seeing this guy (Rob the Rubbish) http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/wales/mid/5312656.stm on countryfile or the news a few years ago.
Hope your health is still improving
    All the best

  2. Hi Steve,

Someone directed me to your blog on the Berghaus site - I'm really pleased to hear that you pick up rubbish on the fells. I get similarly annoyed when I see it (and I pick it up too), and I've recently started a small charity with the aim of reducing the amount of rubbish dropped.

It's called "Runners against Rubbish" - if you want you can join us at www.runnersagainstrubbish.org - it would be an honour to have you as a member!

    Best wishes for continued recovery,
    Stu Walker
